In 2005 Music4children charity broke the world record
for the World's Highest Gig
at Kalapattar Mt Everest,
and raised enough money to build an orphanage in Nepal.
Since then, the record has been stolen from us, so we need you to help us win it back!
Money raised from the May 2012 trip will sustain the orphanage for 2 years. This is a once in a lifetime experience that can't be matched; you'll go down in history, save lives, share music, meet amazing people, and cross climbing Everest off your bucket list. We need audience members as well as musicians. In partnership with Adventure First Nepal, we'll give you a trip to remember!

Sting - Patron of World's Highest gig 2012
"I'm one of the official sponsors of the attempt at the highest gig in the world... I wish them all the best,
I hope they have a great time, and make sure that they clean up everything
and leave it as spotless as it was before they arrived! ... I wish them well." -
Elle Macpherson - Patron of World's Highest gig 2012
"Children are among the most vulnerable in society and with so much hardship and poverty around the world, I was delighted when I found out about the children's charity Music4children. I came across them during a day in the park with my children.
The charity uses all funds raised through their brilliant outdoor gigs and musical expeditions, such as their record-breaking World's Highest Gig on Everest, to fund the building of orphanages. The music was wonderful and the atmosphere was one of community spirit, family and goodwill. I hope all of London's parks follow Battersea's good example and host a Music4children event this summer."
Kathmandu Street Festival !

We aren't done with the once-in-a-life-time experiences! After our descent we will arrive in Kathmandu and will form the first Kathmandu Street festival, which we will turn into an annual event. We will take our remote PA system to parts of Kathmandu that will never have the chance to see their local artists or international artists. We will play to street children and communities from the poorest parts of Kathmandu, put some sunshine into their lives and give us and them an unforgettable experience. You will also get chance to go and see our orphanage.
This a karma trip, there is no cost to this trip unless you want us to organise your accommodation where we have great links. If you wish to raise some money for the charity to help us with our goals that would be great and very much appreciated by Music4children and the children of Nepal.
NOTE: If you can't afford the time off or the cost of the whole trek we have 4 different packages for all budgets. Get in touch!
