  • Where does the money go?
This trip is designed to change not only your life, but the lives of children directly. No one gets paid to organise these trips, we do it purely for the kids. 100% of public raised money goes directly to the cause.

  • Can we see the orphanage?
You will get the chance to visit the orphanage before we head off into the mountains to keep you motivated when times are tough on top of the world.

  • Will I make it to the top?
You don't need to be super fit - how you respond to altitude is more important. We'll allow more time than other treks to make sure everyone makes it and that we have plenty of time to acclimatise.

  • Who is coming?
You'll be joining a fun & adventurous group of people from all over the world. Some of us have done it before, some of us are highest-gig-virgins, but we're all here for the same thing. We've also peaked the interest of various well known musicians, whose names will be announced soon.

  • What happens after the gig?
On our triumphant descent we will be gigging at remote monasteries and villages before we return to Kathmandu. Here, we'll be gigging at our own Kathmandu street festival, playing to members of the community that wouldn't have chance to see local entertainment never mind international acts.

  • Do I need to be a musician?
No! In order for it to be a record, we also need a lovely audience to play to. Anyone can come, have fun and sing along without being a musician.

  • What will it cost me?
The money you have raised will cover your trip from Kathmandu, up the mountain and back again. Unfortunately you will have to pay for your own flights, as we have people from all over the world joining us. We will however get you discounts when we book in bulk.

  • How do I book?
Please email casey@music4children.org (or fill in the form) if you're interested and we'll send you the booking procedures and prices.
